Providing trading and sales desks with profitable trading ideas using superior analytic skills.

Responsible for implementation of product valuation models, trading strategy analytics, risk and valuation tools for desk and fellow desk strategists.

Implement models and strategies that the desk will use to drive trading decisions. 

Implement valuation and risk management models and tools for securities that are currently on the books or about to be purchased or bid upon. 

Collaborating with traders to analyze and advise on managing risk of positions. 

Collaborating with traders to analyze and identify positive trading opportunities. 

Collaborating with traders and design of new products. 

Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of current valuation and risk models and championing and enacting new development as needed. 

Strong math and financial engineering. 

Masters required, PhD preferred. 

C++ and statistical packages such as R, SAS or Matlab. 

Demonstrated track record of market ideas and inquisitive nature for commercially relevant ideas. 

10+ years experience.
